Financial Director

As the Director of Finance for a premier international consumer brand collection, you'll serve as a key financial leader, reporting directly to the Division President. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, providing strategic guidance, and driving growth initiatives. You'll lead a team in managing accounting, finance, and information systems functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing financial performance.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize the organization's financial performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve consolidated financial results and drive business outcomes.
  • Provide financial leadership and strategic input as a member of the executive leadership team.
  • Lead the budgeting process, gathering and analyzing financial data for accurate forecasting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee tax compliance and filings, minimizing risks and ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Implement scalable accounting processes and internal controls to support growth.
  • Foster collaboration with other divisions to enhance business forecasting accuracy.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members, ensuring high performance and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting financial operations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in an international environment.
  • Experience in public company finance operations is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to lead change initiatives and work effectively with executive management.
  • Solid technical accounting knowledge and experience in a growth-oriented business environment.
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership, development, and collaboration.
  • Minimal domestic and international travel may be required.
