Blackbeard Marine, a premier provider of boats and marine services, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance within our dealership environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budget forecasts, and variance reports.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risk.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate annual audits and tax filings.
• Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to support decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation preferred.
• Experience in a financial management role within an auto dealership, boat dealership, Powersports dealership, or RV dealership.
• Strong knowledge of dealership accounting practices and familiarity with industry-specific software (e.g., Reynolds and Reynolds, CDK Global, Lighspeed DMS or equivalent).
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a finance team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
