Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description: As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making within the organization. Your role involves advanced financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Lead financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
    • Analyze financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) and management reports.
    • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP).
  • Strategic Financial Insights:
    • Provide strategic analysis and recommendations on investment opportunities, cost reduction strategies, and revenue enhancement initiatives.
    • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis to support decision-making under different economic conditions.
  • Business Partnering and Decision Support:
    • Collaborate with business units and functional teams to understand operational performance and financial impacts.
    • Support decision-making processes by providing financial insights, analysis, and presentations to senior management.
  • Financial Modeling and Forecasting:
    • Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast financial performance, analyze trends, and assess business scenarios.
    • Evaluate capital budgeting proposals, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and other strategic initiatives.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Identify financial risks and opportunities, assessing their impact on business operations and financial performance.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and financial controls.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Mentor and coach junior financial analysts, providing guidance on financial analysis techniques, modeling best practices, and professional development.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance team.

  • Significant experience (usually 5-10 years or more) in financial analysis, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or related roles.
