Financial Analyst 4

Peak Performers has partnered with a Managed Care Organization to assist in their search for a Financial Analyst 4. In this contract position, you will be responsible for State regulated reporting/auditing.

Major duties

• Direct the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings or expenses, that summarize and forecast the organization’s financial position.
• Prepare special reports required by regulatory authorities.
• Direct the organization’s budgets to meet its financial goals.
• Oversee the investment of funds, manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities. Execute capital-raising strategies to support a firm’s expansion.
• Oversee the firm’s issuance of credit, establishing credit-rating criteria, determining credit ceilings, and monitoring the collections of past-due accounts.
  
  

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
• 8-10 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
• Strong knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel (Pivot tables, V-look ups, Pivoting, horizontal lookups, macros, and locked cells, linking and dragging cells) and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.
• Medicaid experience is a plus.
  
  

About This Position

• Rate: $58.77/hour
• Days / Hours: Monday-Friday/8:0am - 5:00pm (MT or PST)
• Contract length: ~6 months (potential to extend or convert to FTE)
• Remote - Must reside in Arizona (MT/PST time zones only)
