Financial Advisor

Judson Group has partnered with a nationally recognized independent, commission-free fiduciary in the search for a Financial Advisor. This individual will take on a client-facing role with financial planning and investment management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience handling client transactions, implementing investment and financial planning recommendations, business development exposure, and conducting client meetings.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with the firm’s senior advisors, slowly transitioning current clients while taking the lead on new clients coming into the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Manage client relationships through ongoing client contact and communications to establish and maintain a complete understanding of their financial objectives.
• Identify and deliver exceptional client-focused customer service in all aspects of asset management, financial plan development and estate planning.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client relationships.
• Oversee and monitor individual investment portfolios while ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives.
• Consult with attorneys, accountants and other advisors on financial, estate and tax planning.
• Lead client meetings and present the financial plans.
• Deliver educational presentations to clients and staff.
• Develop new client relationships via existing client referrals and local centers of influence.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree, advanced degree preferred.
• CFPstrongly preferred; CFA, CPA, JD a plus.
• 5+ years with a financial planning/investment management firm, family office, or RIA.
• Strong financial planning and investment management experience.
• Track record of successful business development a plus.
• Experience with CRM, financial planning software, and portfolio accounting software.
• Organized and detail oriented while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
