Finance Project Manager - R2R

Our global manufacturing client based in the Greater Cleveland, OH area is seeking candidates for the role of Finance Project Manager - R2R. As a senior member of the Finance department, this strategic position will have a global influence over the Record-to-Report / R2R business process. This hybrid role will work remotely 2 days per week and 3 days in the office. Relocation assistance is available for candidates that currently reside outside of the Cleveland, OH area.

Responsibilities

• Performing business process analysis and translating business requirements into workable SAP solutions and/or functional designs for specific projects and changes
• Working closely with process teams to facilitate project progress and ensure integrated system solutions
• Providing implementation support, preparing the business for system solutions and providing guidance and education to the finance team on the appropriate use of the SAP S/4HANA system
• Working across other key processes to ensure alignment with Record to Report
• Work with IT, ESC, and Automation Teams for process improvement ideas related to S4 and RTR
• Influencing and communicating to leadership with clear risk-based analysis on R2R SAP capabilities
• Ensure proper Segregation of Duty to minimize risks and coordinate with other Business Process Leaders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or related field. CPA / CMA certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with ERP Record-to-Report process, SAP experience strongly preferred
• 7+ years’ experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Experience leading Finance related IT and/or ERP implementation projects
• SAP S/4HANA and ECC functional and technical experience strongly preferred
• Proficient in end-to-end process design/development and integration with cross-functional areas of SAP (Order-To-Cash, Plan-To-Manufacture, and Procure-To-Pay)
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose effective solutions
• Willing to travel on a project basis – up to 15% per year
