Finance Manager, Financial Reporting ($100,000 - $110,000 salary target plus bonus)

Korn Ferry has partnered with our client in their search for a Financial Reporting Manager. The role of the Financial Reporting Manager is to provide financial reporting, analysis, and ad hoc support to the FP&A team. Primary responsibilities will include financial reporting and analysis during the bonus process, budget, forecast, and month-end close. The role will provide key support to the CFO and Senior Leadership team with visibility into sector financial results. Continuously improve processes to increase capabilities and capacity of the team. This role is Hybrid and based in Sandy Springs, Georgia.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support in the analysis and preparation of accounting monthly financial reporting requirements for Leadership.
• Build relationships and become liaison for the Finance/Accounting teams
• Develop detailed understanding of the company’s financial systems to ensure data is accurately stated in their monthly reports
• Support in the preparation of monthly forecast/ month-end close
• Continue to improve monthly financial reporting processes and maintain documentation
• Investigate and work with Business Unit Finance teams to understand key business drivers impacting financial trends
• Support Sr. Leadership in delivering timely and accurate analysis for CEO Leadership Meetings, Compass meetings, and ad hoc requests

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required. MBA or advanced degree favorable.
• 4+ years of experience in corporate finance required with 2+ years in a similar position preferred.
• Work well with people and have a very positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods
• Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
• Ability to learn very quickly and independently
• Ability to build relationships and work cross functionally with business partners
