Finance Manager – Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our Williamsburg, VA office. The ideal candidate is a motivated team leader and subject matter expert with responsibility over the company’s accounting, controlling, finances, taxes, and reporting duties.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Lead company’s accounting team and report directly to the company’s CEO

• Supervise and carry out bookings according to US-GAAP in company’s ERP system

• Ensure proper and complete records of all financial transactions

• Carry out monthly, quarterly, and year-end local and corporate reporting duties

• Provide analysis of financial results to general management

• Facilitate the company’s annual financial audit

• Ensure tax compliance in coordination with company’s CPA firm

• Assist other government auditors in annual or as needed audit work

• Ensure timely payments and information filings to government

• Drive and co-ordinate managerial input for the annual budget

• Work directly with the company's bank and Corporate Finance department to fulfill requirements for check approvals, lines of credit, etc.

• Support HR with regular payroll tasks

• Perform project management and other duties as assigned by superior

Qualifications:

• BS/MS Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or MBA, and >5 years of relevant working experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment

• Strong competence with financial reporting tools and business analysis

• Communication skills, cooperativeness, and ability to work in a team and as a team leader

• Preferred: Working knowledge of ERP Systems and proficient in MS Office

• Self-Motivated and Self-Directed with strong attention to detail

• Effective time management skills with ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to legally work in the United States.

This position can be developed into a “Country CFO” role with further promotion to becoming a registered officer of the company.
