About the Job: As the Finance Manager, you will be a true strategic finance leader who will drive process and operational change to create significant value for your manufacturing site. You will partner closely with senior leadership to enhance governance, drive cost reduction, and mitigate risk across the business unit. You will link operational goals to financial results and communicate clearly and objectively with a diverse set of stakeholders to drive impact and influence outcomes.
You will be responsible for:
Managing all financial and accounting activities of a manufacturing plant
Executing the business unit's strategy through financial modeling and strategic planning
Working cross-functionally with senior leadership to create alignment between operational goals and financial results
Acting as an advisor to senior leadership on initiatives that may impact the financial activities of the company, engaging with outside consultants if applicable
Leading a team managing operational costs, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, financial modeling, and capital expenditure planning
Forecasting and managing a cash flow that meets the needs of the company
Monitoring plant operation results against operating plans and directing the preparation of financial, production output, and other reports used to measure and control plant activities and costs.
Recommending and implementing programs to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, and reduce costs.
Improving upon processes that guide plant operations' productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Collecting operational metrics to analyze productivity and set performance targets to meet revenue and cost goals.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
6+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles within a manufacturing setting
Prior leadership role in a progressive manufacturing setting
Strategic and continuous improvement mindset, ability to see the big picture opportunities and proactively address them.
Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 base salary
Travel: ~5%
