Finance Manager

NEW ROLE: Finance Manager (HYBRID) - Boston, MA. 🚀

Rocketsuite is delighted to partner with a global retail company headquartered in Boston, MA, in their search for a Finance Manager to join their FP&A team.

This opportunity plays a key role in the FP&A function of the company and is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who thrives in a commercial forward-thinking environment. The role will essentially act as a business partner to all areas of the business working closely with the VP of Finance and the CFO.

The role:

• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of the corporate budget, forecast, and long-term outlook, while identifying and quantifying the risks and opportunities impacting the business.
• Maintain and improve financial models and supporting schedules on a monthly basis, enhancing the accuracy of budgeting and forecasting.
• Assist in the creation of materials for the C-suite, investor relations, analysts, and the Board of Directors, including the preparation of written documents.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Marketing, Merchandising, Pharmacy, Business Intelligence) to enhance forecasting accuracy and to improve budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as required by the leadership teams.
• Extract and analyze data from central databases using Hyperion, SQL and Tableau

The candidate:

• MBA or CPA Qualified.
• Minimum of 5+ years of related finance experience.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes, variance analysis and leading projects
• Strong PowerPoint and data visualization skills (Excel/PowerPoint dashboards, Tableau, etc.)
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills using advanced Excel functions (i.e. VLOOKUP/Index Match, SUMIFS, pivot tables, etc.)
• Familiarity with e-commerce or retail business models.

Salary: $110-135k base + bonus + Healthcare + 401k + Life Insurance.
