Our client is a small consulting firm dedicated to working alongside government agencies to implement transformative ideas in education systems across the country.


As they continue to grow, they are looking for a Finance Manager to join their remote Operations Team, which collaborates on projects nationwide. The ideal candidate will be proficient with budgeting, forecasting, and financial models, and will also have the ability to take on accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll responsibilities.


What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related area.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance.
  • 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience with Bill.com is a plus.
  • Experience with Google platforms is a plus.

  • As the Finance Manager, you will be the main point of contact for all financial transactions and responsible for a variety of financial and business-related duties, including:
  • Developing and maintaining budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Monitoring the company's financial performance and providing analysis to support decision-making.
  • Managing cash flow projections and ensuring the availability of funds for project needs.
  • Overseeing daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and payroll.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
  • Overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures.
  • Assisting in the management and maintenance of client and vendor relationships.
