Finance & Economics Senior Consultant - up to $120,000 - Seattle, Washington State (hybrid)

Chi Square Economics is working with a boutique consultancy that is looking for a consultant in the finance and economics space to head up their growing public policy department. The team tackles a wide range of economic, financial, and policy cases, supporting both public sector and private sector clients, along with NGOs. They are now looking for a Finance and Economics Consultant to not only manage clients in this space but also drive the expansion of the finance and economics department.

If you are currently based in Seattle (or open to relocate!) and have experience consulting to the public sector, this is an amazing opportunity to become a key team member in a growing firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects in economics, finance, and policy
• Provide budget and invoicing guidance to clients
• Analyse and develop financial models
• Write reports, proposals, and white papers
• Maintain client relationships and communications
• Manage and train a small team, providing on-going mentorship and professional development

About you

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

• Master's in economics, finance, or public policy (must have a focus in economics)
• Ideally prior experience working in a consultancy
• Experience consulting to the public sector
• A strong understanding of economics, public policy, and municipal finance
• Ability to build and develop economic and financial models
• Experience analysing demographic economic data (ideally for Washington)
