The Director of Finance for our fast-growing, well-established B2B IOT Technology client will be bringing finance leadership to the global business defining and articulating a Finance strategy, leading and developing finance professionals, leading strategic initiatives such as guiding optimization and also developing and supporting strategic and financial planning and reporting processes.
Responsibilities
Leading Finance to ensure the provision of the necessary financial services and resources to achieve the current and future business objectives, control and business integrity
Providing training, guidance and leading continuous improvement across the Finance function to continually improve the quality and capabilities of the Finance function. Driving a continuous improvement culture in Finance
Strong contribution and leadership of thinking to support the implementation of the common ERP platforms, and other shared back-office processes.
Develop and operate systems that provide analysis and interpretation of performance information for the Division.
To advise and challenge on the interpretation of information, to facilitate timely and accurate decision making on business operations and investments.
Active involvement in operational business issues to ensure that decisions to improve profitability
Increase focus on cash flow and working capital metrics
Prepare/review/validate all significant business investment proposals (capex and opex) including special projects financial support
Prepare and review investment proposal and scenario modeling
Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
A minimum of 10 years, progressively more responsible, varied experience in corporate financial leadership culminating in a position commiserate with Director of Finance in a freestanding multi-unit, high-transaction company
The ideal candidate will have prior experience or exposure to manufacturing inventory/cost accounting and extensive experience with capital management and debt/equity financing
Extensive experience with capital management and relationship management with financial partners.
