Our client has 50+ years of experience as manufacturer in high growth-mode and they are looking to add a Director of Finance to their growing team in the Lauren’s County, SC area. (Onsite position)

Salary & Benefits

Our client offers a competitive $90k-$130k+ Base Salary (flexible/negotiable DOE) + 20% Bonus, comprehensive health benefits, matching 401k, PTO, Paid/Paid Holidays, etc.

Job Summary

The Director of Finance is a key leadership role within the organization, contributing to the ongoing development, growth and financial strategy of the business. This position will have ~6 direct reports and annual turnover of ~$120million.

Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities

Leadership: Collaborate with the President and senior management Act as a role model and support a performance culture Lead the finance function, overseeing corporate, state, and federal governance, planning, and control Serve as Corporate Officer, Treasurer, and 401K Trustee Act as advisor, leader, and educator of finance Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships Performance Insight: Manage financial activities: billing, AR, AP, inventory, cash flow, financial statements (Monthly Reporting) Challenge the business to improve financial and operational performance Enhance efficiency and effectiveness of finance functions Implement control mechanisms in line with Group procedures Value Creation: Support commercial teams in understanding customer profitability Support operational teams in understanding asset performance and productivity Identify opportunities to drive efficiency Champion efforts to reduce working capital Planning and Control: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes Maintain tight financial control over key performance indicators Guide capital expenditure and working capital management People: Develop a high-efficiency finance organization Foster the role of finance business partners Develop talent within the finance team

Person Specification (Minimum Requirements): Senior finance experience in a relevant business scale and complexity Hands-on experience required Strong analytical and strategic planning skills with a commercial outlook Excellent corporate skills and understanding of global functions Good people leadership skills and ability to build relationships Maturity and functional leadership capability Sees finance as a partner to the business

Qualifications: Accounting Degree Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting/finance role Knowledge of IFRS and ERP systems Experience: Experience in an industrial process manufacturing business Ability to simplify financial infrastructure and make reporting relevant Proven record of good financial practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products Strong leadership capability
