As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for planning, forecasting and analyzing divisional and Office-level financial and operational results to gain a detailed understanding of the current business conditions and develop recommendations to improve business performance. The Finance Business Partner will also provide analysis of business results for specific requests from the Director of Finance, COO, President, and Office Leaders.
Your Impact:
- Review of key planning, budgeting, and forecasting assumptions. Verification of accuracy for workstream.
- Confirm key business drivers and strategic initiatives as input into business plans. Review strategic initiatives with business and work with business stakeholders to develop business plans to achieve targets.
- Support development of business cases for new investment/projects used as key input for budgets. Review resource allocations against plans and targets.
- Apply local enrichments to forecast where required (e.g., cost allocations).
- Review, challenge and finalize forecasts with Business.
- Primary point of contact with the business stakeholders for performance analysis. Identify performance analysis KPIs and priorities required for business stakeholders.
- Establish tolerance levels for variance analysis with Business Units. Review business driver link to performance actuals and variance.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify new requirements and priorities for management reporting, data and metrics, include any specialized ad hoc requirements e.g., new priorities, initiatives being measured.
- Develop detailed segment specific analysis and insight against management reporting results.
- Conduct reviews with Business and other “local” stakeholders e.g., other Finance teams, etc.
- Compile detailed commentary for business and executive leadership on key aspects of management reporting data and insight.
- Provide ad-hoc data analysis upon request and draw meaningful insight and be able to present accordingly.
- Analyze and maintain commission accrual calculations.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting strongly preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, including experience within: analysis including P&L analysis, forecasting & budgeting, working with large data sets, creation of excel templates, automation skills, and strong time management skills. Experience with Specialty Insurance is a plus.
- Proven ability to work independently, analyze data, and communicate effectively.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI or Tableau.
- Exposure to other financial reporting software (CPM) understanding user interfaces to run reports such as Oracle.

At One80 Intermediaries, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, and paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $78,000 - $90,000 + bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
