Description:
Join a Machine Tool business as a Field Service Engineer, where you'll be the face of the company, providing top-notch customer service during new product installations, equipment servicing, and technical support. Your role will involve a range of duties from equipment start-up and training to documentation and parts ordering.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct new product installations, testing, and customer training
Deliver exceptional customer service on-site and in support roles
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
Maintain documentation of machine data and service history
Assist customers with parts identification and ordering
Collaborate with regional managers to meet customer expectations
Provide prompt communication of expenses and service reports
Make recommendations for improvements based on field service activity
Domestic travel required (up to 100%) with occasional international travel
Qualifications:
Two-year Technical Associates Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum two years of electronic/assembly repair experience
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer hardware
Experience with electronic and precision mechanical equipment
Valid driver's license and ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds
