Immediate need or a Field Service Technician. $28/hr plus OT.
Within Your Role, You Will
Conducts service, repair and/or installation of equipment at customer site, including laser optics, electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts.
Conduct operator training
Diagnoses system failures and determines most cost-effective solution.
Escalates complex issues to greater level of technical support or quality reporting system.
Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory.
Preventative maintenance
Field upgrades and machine software upgrades
Traveling up to 90% (local travel: 50% overnight travel: 50%)
We Are Looking For a Professional Who Has
Customer-oriented skills and with good ability to clearly communicate progress
Excellent record keeping (service reports and spare parts) and follow up
A hands-on, proactive approach and can work independently
Ability to work under stress of deadlines and down equipment
Flexibility to travel with overnight stays.
