Field Service Technician

Remote with 100% travel across the USA.

Our warehouse automation client is in the midst of a growth phase after receiving multiple orders from their long-standing customers across the USA and are now looking to bolster their service technician teams who can support the installation, commissioning and ongoing service/maintenance of material handling automation equipment. You will be representing the customer and the first contact person on-site.

After an initial training period you will work either independently or part of a small site team to oversee and resolve all customer issues. Typical duties include:

• Overall maintenance of automation systems, think along the lines of conveyors, ASRS cranes etc.
• Hands-on installation, commissioning, maintenance and service support from a mechanical and electrical perspective.
• Consult customers with regards to spare parts/modernization opportunities.
• High level of customer service.

What we are looking for:

• Driver's license holder.
• Strong background of mechanical and electrical installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of machinery automation systems.
• PLC controls experience, being able to log in to a PLC, troubleshoot/debug may set your application apart.
• Willingness to travel: 100%. Realistically, you will be home every couple of weeks for a long weekend.
• US passport or Green Card holder at the point of hire.
