Traveling around 50% of the time is needed to Canada and US.
Most of our installations are reachable from Arlington VA by car, but we have systems in CA, TX, NM, etc

Need Medical Equipment Experience
perform installation, calibration, operational and safety testing, maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on high level imaging systems such as PET, SPECT, MRI and CT scanners or multiple medium or lower-level imaging systems,
serve as an expert in matters related to repair and maintenance of in vivo imaging equipment,
assist other associates by providing advice, support, training and in-service in matters related to in vivo imaging equipment,
must be able to travel in North America on a regular basis and internationally occasionally.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Physics.
Qualified applicants will possess superior interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written and will show strong computer competencies. The successful candidate shows familiarity with a wide variety of Nuclear Medicine / CT/ MRI experiments.
Additional Requirements
1 - 4 years in servicing electronic equipment or IT systems preferred.

extensive knowledge of radiation physics, digital technology, circuitry and mechanics
extensive knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to imaging equipment and radiation safety, and protection practices
extensive knowledge of imaging performance based on regulations, manufacturing practices and institutional requirements.
ability to work independently.
administrator level of computer skills with Windows, and preferably Linux operating systems
the ability to set goals, plan projects, be highly organized and develop solutions to complex situations with a high degree of independence is required.
must display a positive customer focus and have a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and high standards for personal and professional integrity.
current US working permit and travel documents.
