Compensation: ?$32-35/hour + up to 10 hours of overtime available weekly. Employees often earn 1.5x their base pay with overtime pay.

Location: ?This role can be based in New Orleans, LA, Galveston or Houston TX. This role will include a combination of travel, office, home, and field work. Employees can expect to travel nationally and regionally up to 60% each month. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Propulsion system knowledge: relevant product owner familiarization, commissioning training, and documented skill set Problem-solving abilities Experience in mounting and commissioning offline and online measurement devices Required: relevant vibration certification and product familiarization with documented skill set Conducting video scope inspections on thruster equipment Vibration Analyst CAT I training and certification, where applicable Performing basic visual thruster inspections Installation and commissioning of CMU-8 and CMU-16 monitoring systems Report generation Availability for travel

Qualifications And Experience

Undergraduate degree or equivalent education in an Engineering or Technical discipline, and/or a minimum of two years of experience in the marine industry Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite Technical education at the bachelor's level or equivalent combination of experience and education in a related professional field Experience with propulsion systems Leadership and team-building skills Strong verbal communication and written reporting skills in English
