We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Field Safety Specialist to oversee onsite safety and health management. This project is located at the Pittsburgh International Airport, and the work will be performed on night shift starting in June 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day risk assessment to identify potential safety hazards and develop strategies to eliminate or mitigate risks
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, ACG, and owner site safety requirements
  • Investigate accidents or incidents to determine their causes and recommend preventive measures to avoid future occurrences
  • Effectively communicate safety information to employees and management
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents and training for onsite employees

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, or equivalent is preferred
  • 5+ years of field safety experience or 12 years of relevant construction safety and health experience
  • OSHA 500 course for construction completed in the last 5 years,
  • OHSA 30-hour Construction Outreach Training Course completed in the last 5 years
  • First Aid, CPR, and AED
