As a Blue Raven Field Operations Technician, you will be our primary point of contact on the ground and integrally involved with the entire process of helping customers go solar. Technicians must be responsible and able to manage their own schedule to ensure that all necessary tasks are followed through on, with minimal outside management. This position will require the individual to have reliable transportation, and the ability to communicate with our corporate office effectively and efficiently. Candidates for this position should have a flexible schedule, available 40 hours a week including Saturdays. Hours do vary, but 20 hours of work a week is guaranteed.

Responsibilities
Effectively manage your schedule to complete time sensitive tasks on a daily basis.
Work with local municipalities to submit and retrieve documents necessary for successfully completing the permitting process prior to system installation.
Turn on solar system once installation is complete and collect customer feedback. Fix common inverter problems that may occur upon energization.
Coordinate remotely with our permitting project coordinator and field operations manager
Manage and keep track of daily expenses
Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively with people of varied backgrounds and ability levels
Great work ethic
Effective time management between several different responsibilities
Basic knowledge of home construction preferred but not required
Possession of a clean driving record
Reliable transportation
Experience with basic hand tools preferred but not required
Compensation
$18 - $20/hr
