As an investigator, your role will involve conducting surveillance and special investigation unit (SIU) assignments within a designated area as directed by the Investigations Coordinator. Your primary responsibilities include accepting case assignments, adhering to specific instructions, completing video surveillance on targeted individuals, utilizing investigative techniques for obtaining covert footage, securing recorded statements, conducting scene inspections, activity checks, and documenting findings for each assignment.
Key Responsibilities
Acceptance of Case Assignments:
Acknowledge and accept all assigned cases promptly.
Conducting Surveillance
Carry out video surveillance on targeted individuals using established investigative methods to capture covert footage.
Completing Investigations
Secure recorded statements, perform scene inspections, conduct activity checks, and collect necessary documents as per instructions.
Documentation And Reporting
Maintain detailed written notes for each case assignment.
Submit all video footage, photographs, digital recordings, and timesheets via email to the Coordinator within one business day.
Meet deadlines and submit daily timesheets promptly.
Communication And Coordination
Maintain regular communication with the assigning Coordinator.
Qualifications
Valid State Driver's License is a requirement.
Current Private Investigator License is mandatory.
Holding licenses for multiple states is advantageous.
Dependability and meeting deadlines are essential.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Possession of investigative tools such as a laptop, video cameras, and digital recorder.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
