InfraHire is looking for Field Engineer - Utility Scale Solar in Durango, CO
Responsibilities
Daily coordination with Superintendent, Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Office Engineer as needed.
Planning and management of site-specific tasks such as, but not limited to; subcontractor coordination, site grading and SWPP installation, pier driving, racking installation, trenching and conduit installation, wire pulling and termination, commissioning.
Daily Quality Control and documentation through Autodesk Build.
Daily construction reports through Autodesk Build.
Assisting with site safety meetings and observations.
Documenting As-Built construction.
Participating in civil, mechanical, or electrical construction using basic hand tools or heavy equipment depending on skills and experience.
Managing small crews for civil, mechanical, or electrical work.
Learning and growing as a team member.
Innovation, Invention, Evolution.
Qualifications
Bachelors or advanced Degree in Engineering, Physics, Project management, or similar field.
Software: at minimum Windows OS, MS Office Suite. We prefer experience with Smartsheets, Autodesk Build, and Bluebeam.
Basic knowledge of hand tools.
Construction experience preferred, particularly in solar.
Ability to work outdoors in a wide range of conditions.
Willingness to travel full time for work.
Work 50+ hours per week
