Field Application Scientist - Advanced Imaging

Mid-Atlantic Region

Your Tasks:

As a member of the Miltenyi Biotec North America Sales Team, you will be responsible for our Microscopy and Imaging portfolio. You will be primarily responsible for post-sales support of the install base, assisting in the sale of complimentary reagents, and providing demo support to technically close a sale. In addition, you will support the development and execution of both internal and customer driven feasibility studies. You will work collaboratively with local sales and support teams to accomplish your goals. Your outgoing nature and ability to gain buy-in from others will help Miltenyi Biotec showcase itself successfully and professionally, and as a result grow the sales of the company overall.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in biological sciences, immunology, cancer research, neuroscience, or molecular biology, OR; Master’s degree and 3 years of related experience in biological sciences, immunology, cancer research, neuroscience, or molecular biology.
  • A minimum of 3 years of microscopy and imaging experience; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Specific experience with light sheet microscopy, multiphoton microscopy, multiplexed tissue imaging and bioinformatics is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, evidence of insurance/insurability, ability to receive appropriate clearance to access restricted government accounts, and be authorized to work in the U.S.

This job is performed in a variety of facilities. Each person performing this job must have a home office environment, which is temperature controlled. This job requires the person to be mobile to visit customer sites. Due to the travel requirements, this position may be exposed to natural elements of nature.
