Salary/Hourly Rate
$80,000 to $85,000 depending on experience
Position Overview
As a Fashion Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product assortment, visual presentation, and overall merchandising strategy. The Fashion Merchandiser will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our collections resonate with our customers and drive business growth.
Responsibilities Of The Fashion Merchandiser
Curate and develop seasonal product assortments that align with market trends, customer preferences, and brand vision
Collaborate with design, sourcing, and production teams to bring product concepts to life, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights
Develop merchandising plans and visual displays that optimize product visibility, storytelling, and sales conversion in-store and online
Partner with retail partners and sales teams to provide product training, support, and marketing collateral
Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement
Foster strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to streamline operations and maximize profitability
Qualifications For The Fashion Merchandiser
Proven experience in fashion merchandising, product development, or retail buying
Must have 4 to 6 years of experience
Strong aesthetic sense and trend forecasting abilities, with a keen eye for design, color, and style
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Able to work in a fast environment
Proficient in Illustrator, and Photoshop
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is required
