Responsibilities include home visits with families, helping to set and meet goals related to child / family development, parenting and accessing community service. Positive outcomes are achieved through purposeful and respectful relationships rooted in trauma informed care, hope and evidence-based research. An openness to embrace and explore bias, equity issues, successes and challenges from a place of understanding and curiosity is needed to succeed and develop in the position / organization.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field
Experience working in-home with families with infants and/or young children required
3 years experience working with families and children
Knowledge of Healthy Families America model, child development and community resources is helpful.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance and have clean / clear driving record.
