Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Family Service Counselor located in Jacksonville, FL. The Family Service Counselor will be responsible for assisting families with final arrangements, selling preneed, coordinating funeral services, and providing support during the grieving process. They will also engage in lead generation activities and communicate with clients to ensure their needs are met and as many families as possible are protected!
Qualifications
Experience in family services, funeral homes, and funeral arrangements
Sales experience preferred (not required)
Reliable personal transportation
Outbound call experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to generate leads and foster client relationships
Knowledge of insurance and financial planning
Empathy and compassion for those who are grieving
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Previous experience in the funeral industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Experience in commission based positions preferred
