The Biden For President Campaign is seeking motivated individuals to serve as legal fellows (recent law school graduates) or legal externs (current law students) with the Campaign’s legal team.
Fellows/externs are expected to work 20-40 hours per week. We are looking for fellows/externs to start in August or early September, though exact dates are flexible. In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, the fellow/extern program will include educational opportunities, mentorship, and career development. The work schedule is flexible and can be structured around an academic schedule.
Externships are structured to be eligible for academic credit to the extent permitted by your academic institution. Where possible, the Campaign will support externs in meeting the criteria to receive academic credit.
Externships/fellowships are unpaid. However, externs/fellows are provided with a $1,500 stipend toward living expenses. Due to campaign finance restrictions, externs/fellows are not permitted to accept any other payment or thing of value for the externship/fellowship without explicit approval by the Campaign.
Key Responsibilities
All information provided to Biden for President must be accurate and truthful. In the event that any information on your resume or related materials are found to be untruthful, the campaign reserves the right to disregard applications or take immediate disciplinary action, up to and including termination, and also reserves the right to take legal action for related damages.
Accessibility Note: We invite all interested and qualified candidates to apply for employment opportunities. If you require any accommodation in the application process, you may request a reasonable accommodation.
Biden for President believes in the importance of privacy for all individuals and is committed to handling personal data responsibly and securely. This means being thoughtful about the data you share with us, how we use it, and how we protect it.
