Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Intern will work with the product development team to ensure a high-quality software product is delivered by creating and executing test plans, collaborating with team members, identifying and reporting defects in the software, attending agile team meetings, and adhering to deadlines
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.

Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Intern will work with the product development team to ensure a high-quality software product is delivered by creating and executing test plans, collaborating with team members, identifying and reporting defects in the software, attending agile team meetings, and adhering to deadlines
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
- Create and execute test plans
- Assist in all phases and types of software testing of browser and mobile based UIs and unified API
- Coordinate testing efforts with teammates
- Identify and report defects in the software
- Communicate with teammates when issues or delays arise
- Review documentation; edit and update as necessary
- Attend and participate in team meetings
- Assure a high-quality software product
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Applicable experience that includes attention to detail and critical thinking
- Comfortable with technology including both Mac and Windows OS, mobile devices, MS Teams, and Azure Devops
- Knowledge/awareness of the SDLC and Agile methodology
- Experience working with diverse individuals in remote formats
- Familiarity or experience with healthcare software is preferred, but not required
- Experience planning and writing test cases preferred, but not required
- Attention to detail, organization skills, and time management skills
- Inquisitive and thoughtful
- Self-starter and highly motivated
- Flexible and adaptable
- Ability to work in a fast paced, changing, collaborative environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with other team members
- Ability to articulate complicated ideas
