Position Overview
The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for assisting and supporting the NurseGrid Engineering and Product team by leading meetings and ceremonies, using Agile and Project Management technologies and tools to support the successful delivery of projects, and preparing project progress reports for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
Lead project team meetings and/or agile ceremonies and support project management in planning, recording and completing identified action items.
Collaborate with project team in identifying process improvement opportunities and defining process procedures and requirements.
Assist project management in implementing improvements to tools and practices to support team initiatives.
Qualifications
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
General knowledge in agile methodologies, especially Scrum and Kanban.
General knowledge in basic project management concepts including planning, executing and monitoring.
Preferred degree of study in business management, project management, computer science, information systems or related field.
Familiarity with basic healthcare software or software programming is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint with ability to learn new systems.
Understanding and knowledge of software.
Possess strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to prioritize and manage competing priorities.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
