Fall 2024 Graduate Product Development Engineering Co-Op/Intern
LOCATION: San Jose, Santa Clara.
ONSITE/HYBRID: These roles require the student to work full time (40 hours a week), either in a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.

Fall: August 19th, 2024, to December 13th, 2024.

What You’ll Be Doing
As an intern, you will be part of AMD's next generation of technology innovations. You will work with diverse and talented teams. Our intern program provides learning and career development opportunities. You will connect with leaders, receive one-on-one mentorship, and participate in exciting events. With AMD, you will benefit from a combination of hands-on training and real-world work experiences that will give you a competitive edge.
Assist Product Development Engineers in characterization and production test program development through parametric, data and statistical analysis. Perform engineering and correlation studies to ensure yield, coverage and meet corporate target goal to start production ramp. Participate on cross-functional teams and help resolve production related issues. Write and maintain technical documents. Debug and manage manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors.

Key Qualifications
- C++, Linux
- Perl, Ruby, shell script, Java or similar.
- GIT, SVN, CVS, RCS or similar.
- XP, AGILE, Scrum, or Kanban programming paradigms.
- Logic analyzers, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and debug.
- Solid understanding of transistors and computer basics.
- Courses in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Digital Logic, Circuit Theory, Computer Architecture.
- Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of data.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
- Strong passion for technology and research.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited US University, master’s degree program.
- Studying Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
