Facility Security Officer

Overview

The Contractor shall designate a qualified Facility Security Officer (FSO) who shall serve as the central focal point of contact for Contractor security matters and shall have broad experience in all aspects of the security disciplines including personnel, physical, operations, industrial, communications, information, and information technology security.

This position requires a current Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

The Contractor shall designate a qualified Facility Security Officer (FSO) who shall serve as the central focal point of contact for Contractor security matters and shall have broad experience in all aspects of the security disciplines including personnel, physical, operations, industrial, communications, information, and information technology security.

the FSO shall demonstrate knowledge and experience with the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Scattered Castles, Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP), preparing DD Form 254s, certification and accreditation, clearance passing and conducting security briefings and debriefings.

Qualifications

The FSO shall be certified through the Defense Industrial Security Program or equivalent;

Have a minimum of five years’ experience as a FSO which includes at least two years’ experience operating in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) environment

Shall possess a thorough understanding of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and all Director of National Intelligence (DNI) security policies and regulations.

This position requires a current Top Secret security clearance.
