Job Description

Position Summary:

Commonwealth//McCann is seeking a Facility Post Producer who will contribute to the capabilities and growth of our internal studio, Craft Detroit. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, organized and collaborative, and able to work within a team and independently. Experience in a postproduction environment, a strong client-centric service ethic and a passion for production excellence are a must.

Accountabilities:

  • Assist Studio Manager in facilitating overall operations of the Craft Detroit studio
  • Coordinate with Studio Manager, Agency Producers and other stakeholders for the life cycle of all projects
  • Track and manage project schedules, keeping stakeholders apprised of status
  • Assist in project tracking and billing according to agency time management platforms and policies
  • Assist in coordinating editors/bays, insert stage and audio suite scheduling
  • Handle full production duties for internal projects as needed
  • Assist in updating and managing internal job-tracking database
  • Oversee project archiving according to studio and agency-wide content management platforms and policies
  • Coordinate meals and other accommodations for our studio clients
  • Provide miscellaneous studio coordination and assistance as needed

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • 3+ years postproduction experience in an advertising agency, post house or film/TV work environment
  • Possess a keen familiarity with production and postproduction workflows
  • Ability to provide attention to detail, demonstrating a high degree of accuracy and consistency
  • Excellent organization and time management skills; able to prioritize workloads with tight deadlines effectively
  • Customer service-oriented approach when engaging with our internal agency clients
  • Ability to build relationships within the agency, advocating for Craft Detroit wherever possible
  • and Pro Tools or related software a plus
  • Continued learning to ensure understanding of current post processes and technologies
  • After-hours and weekend work should be regularly anticipated
