Manage and supervise repair and maintenance to ensure safe operations for company properties, which may include stores, offices, and/or warehouses.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key Accountabilities
Develops policies and procedures to manage facility operations. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies.
Plans, schedules, and coordinates general repairs, space utilization, and remodeling projects.
Oversees the inspection of facilities to document damage and determine repair needs. Anticipates and responds to facility related operational issues. Investigate complaints and safety violations, and resolve problems.
Directs and coordinates the activities of support roles at multiple locations.
Maintains records of special permits, inspections, hazards, compliance issues, and maintenance and operating costs.
Maintains documents, contracts and vendor lists. Prepares and review service contracts and billing.
Maintains ongoing relationships with all departments to keep abreast of their service needs and to be able to anticipate problems. Collaborates with other business unit representatives, and peers, in support of enterprise decisions, goals and objectives.

Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education And Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
