Description

The Facilities Worker is responsible for providing superior guest service to patrons of the casino by keeping the interior and exterior of the casino clean and presentable during business hours. Duties include emptying trash cans, cleaning and maintaining the restroom facilities, replenishing items such as tissue and hand soap, sweeping and mopping and wiping down casino gaming machines. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by department manager. Starting wage is $16.81/hr, increasing to $17.39/hr at successful completion of 90 days.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Experience & Requirements

  • Must have experience in general housekeeping
  • Must have knowledge of using cleaning solutions and repairing cleaning equipment

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
  • The ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
  • Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays

Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIB license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
