Job Purpose

The Facilities Manager oversees and coordinates the maintenance and operations of our retail facilities nationwide, and Support Center in Los Angeles. They report to our Senior Manager, Design & Construction and will work closely with our Retail Operations team. They provide direct oversight and project management of major facilities and maintenance projects. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the implementation of facilities maintenance plans, budget creation and documentation of costs, and creation of an equipment management plan for the replacement and upgrades of equipment.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the facilities of all Pressed retail locations and our Support Center; facilities to include building and equipment maintenance management, energy management, safety management and equipment capex replacement management.
  • Implement, distribute and maintain safety plan for all stores, including creation of SOPs.
  • Develop and implement facility maintenance, and janitorial plans and procedures.
  • Complete necessary training for store teams.
  • Provide direct oversight and project management of major facilities projects (ie. equipment, systems, HVAC).
  • Utilize Service Channel software to track and manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and vendor performance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Source and manage new vendors, for facilities and preventative maintenance.
  • Monitor facility budgets and expenditures, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
  • Conduct in person inspections and site visits of our retail stores and LA Support Center, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to facility operations and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and improve facility operations.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of work experience as a Facilities Manager, or similar role.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ work experience in facilities management, with a strong focus on using Service Channel software.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and dedicate a minimum of 40 hours/week.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Ability to drive/travel to our Support Center, facilities, and retail locations as needed.
