One Federal solution is seeking a skilled and talented Facilities Manager to join our team between Dahlgren, VA and the DC Metro Area. As a Facilities Manager, you would oversee the maintenance and operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Task And Duties
Supervise maintenance staff and contractors.
Analyze and advise on services, costs, resource constraints and alternatives.
Develop detailed facilities requirements and associated cost analysis Maintain and repair logic controllers.
Tour inside and outside facilities in hot and cold environments for assessment purposes.
Optimize management oversight and control of assigned facilities.
Design and conduct management studios and develop recommendations.
Fabricate parts when necessary.
Manage high voltage systems safely.
Oversee all aspects of building maintenance.
Qualifications:
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Previous experience in facilities management.
Ability to work with high-voltage systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Four (4) years of experience working as a subject matter expert in analytical techniques.
Experience preparing written reports and making oral presentations.
Ability to represent a large organization on facilities matters.
Working knowledge of the Navy Working Capital Fund.
Expert knowledge of Navy facilities and space management regulations, policies, practices, and procedures.
Broad knowledge of Navy public works services.
Knowledge of facilities and space management automated tools.
