Oasis Ascent is a short-term residential treatment program for teenagers located in Millcreek, Utah. The families we serve are in crisis and need support keeping their children safe right now. At Oasis Ascent, we provide thorough assessment, around-the-clock secure care, and intensive support to young men and women. We are a safe setting for adolescents to stabilize while they and their families meet with licensed clinicians to determine the underlying causes of distress and what next steps make the most sense for their needs.

As our Facilities Manager, you will oversee the maintenance and operation of our Millcreek and Provo campuses. You will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of the facilities, managing maintenance and repair activities, and coordinating with external contractors. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as a solid understanding of technical and engineering operations. Your role is crucial in creating a clean, beautiful, secure, up-to-date, and safe environment, allowing our employees to work under the best conditions and our students to receive the best care possible.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance technicians and custodial staff
  • Manage and coordinate facility maintenance and repair activities
  • Inspect buildings and structures to identify maintenance needs
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
  • Plan and coordinate renovations and remodeling projects
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage inventory and supplies for maintenance and repairs
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs
  • Monitor and optimize facilities operating costs
  • Develop and implement emergency response and evacuation plans
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices

Requirements

Please ensure your resume includes education, work experience, certifications, and licenses

  • 21+ years of age
  • Able to pass criminal investigation background check
  • Able to pass motor vehicle record check
  • Current Utah driver's license (within 30 days of employment)
  • 3+ years of facilities management experience
  • Knowledge of technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in facility management, engineering, business administration, or related field
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CFM) will be an advantage
