Facilities Manager

POSITION

King City Gardens is seeking a Facilities Manager. TheFacilities Manager maintains and oversees the company’s grounds, buildings and equipment to ensure that the workspace is safe and functional. Their duties include negotiating contracts with service providers, inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations, and coordinating renovations and updates.

Job Duties

• Delegatecleaning and maintenance tasks to team members
• Monitorthe safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces
• Performroutine maintenance on facilities and make repairs as needed
• Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
• Ensureproper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals
• Maintainday-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders
• Createreports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
• Preparefacilities for changing weather conditions
• Collaborate with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities’ needs
  
  

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
• Proficiency with repair tools and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors, and team members
• Great time management, organization, and prioritization abilities
• Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time
  
  

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we can share that the pay range for this position is $75,000-$85,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
