Position Summary:
Perform engineering duties in inspecting, planning, executing, and analyzing any project related to facility, machines, and other electrically and mechanically functioning equipment and grounds in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions:
Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water, and electrical/mechanical systems.
Develop, coordinate, and lead activities in the maintenance of all facilities equipment (except production equipment) throughout the plant.
Research issues, analyze data, and develop countermeasures for continuous system improvements.
Provide technical direction and support to identify and troubleshoot problems, propose countermeasures, and resolve issues.
Develop preventative maintenance plans and update documents in the SAP system.
Maintain spare parts for facilities equipment in the SAP system.
Design new installation as needed for replacement equipment projects.
Communicate with carbon neutral execution team in HMC & HEC on a regular basis for updates and to share with the relevant departments.
Support contract review, billing audit, RECs transaction for the successful RE100 execution.
Generate energy report, forecast energy usage/cost, prepare budget for the REC adjustments/transactions.
Monitor contractor work for compliance with HMMA quality standards.
Support and/or lead continuous improvement activities.
Provide technical training to Team Members as needed.
Develop, document, and present technical presentations.
Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business management System (BMS), Environmental Systems Management (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
Meet all other requirements as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial or Electrical Engineering preferred.
Related Experience
0 – 10 years of job-related experience preferred.
3 – 5 years in manufacturing experience desired.

Additional Information:
Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call
duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
