Sanhua International is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team in our Gluckstadt, MS office. The Facilities Coordinator has primary responsibilities for coordinating and leading the maintenance and selection and purchasing of warehouse and office equipment, supplies and services. The role also ensures that the facility is clean, safe, and secure for everyone.
The ideal candidate will have prior purchasing experience working in a warehouse supporting multiple levels of employees. The ideal candidate has a healthy initiative and can anticipate needs.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Safety
Coordinates and leads the maintenance, repair, and improvements related to warehouse equipment, supplies, and services
Ensures the warehouse is clean, safe, secure, and accessible for employees, customers, and visitors
Establishes and enforces the policies and procedures for the use and maintenance of the warehouse
Inventory and Supplies Management
Manages the inventory and purchasing of warehouse and office supplies, materials, and tools needed
Monitors and tracks the status of orders and deliveries
Prepares and processes invoices, purchase orders, and requisitions according to organizational policies and procedures
Keeps track of the records, documents, and licenses related to the warehouse
Vendor and Contractor Management
Selects and negotiates with external contractors, vendors, and service providers
Monitors and reports on the performance, costs, and quality of supplies and services for the warehouse
Coordination and Compliance
Coordinates with departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services
Regular audits of the warehouse to identify and resolve any issues or risks
Stays updated on the best practices, trends, and regulations for warehouses
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
2+ years of previous experience in facilities/logistics supervision, purchasing, maintenance, or a similar role
Knowledge of the principles and practices of warehouse/facilities management, including the health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations.
Ability to inspect, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment, supplies and services
Proficient with Microsoft Office, purchasing software, and warehouse management systems.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
Attention to detail, accuracy, and work quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to prioritize, plan, and manage multiple tasks and projects within deadlines and budgets.
