Provide billing and collections training to new hires.
Responsible for day-to-day oversight of team attendance and performance.
Provide management with updated team billing forecast on a weekly basis.
Monitor released WIP to ensure it is successfully submitted before month end.
Assist timekeepers with time entry issues.
Responsible for month end close in finance system.
Oversee Intake process for accurate setups and rate assignments.
Oversee billing rate maintenance in finance system.
Contact assigned billing attorneys regularly in an effort to keep communication open regarding billing frequency, special requirements as stated in guidelines and any unusual billing instructions.
Provide accurate client information as requested by attorneys and legal assistants.
Support all initiatives to achieve periodic billing targets and achieve firm objectives.
Requirements:
3+ years Legal Billing supervisor experience
E-Billing experience preferred
System: Excel
