F-35 Lightning Sustainment Operations Center Manager

This position is Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Lightning Sustainment Operations Center Manager at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB), Ohio reporting to the F-35 Global Sustainment Senior Manager. The successful candidate will lead a large team to provide 24/7/365 primary, first-line sustainment support for all F-35 global customers and sites. This position serves as the conduit between internal and external customers and F-35 Sustainment organizations including Sustaining Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Sustainment Performance Management, Field Operations, Support Equipment, Training, and others as needed.

Additional Responsibilities Include

• Key leadership role ensuring F-35 Operations Center processes are executed in accordance with guidance and effectively provide sustainment support to global F-35 customers.
• Represent LM during recurring meetings with senior customer and partner leadership (military and civilian)
• Assess organizational performance to propose/implement new processes and best practices to provide world class sustainment support the growing F-35 fleet.
• The F-35 Ops Center is a 24/7/365 operation, and while this position is primarily day shift, there may be circumstances that require the candidate to work different shifts and days as needed. Shifts could include first, second, and third. Work days may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Conduct Operations Center briefings and tours to internal and external customers regarding the activities of F-35 Operations Center.
• Must be a United States citizen. Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
