We are searching for a talented and experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in a remote role supporting clients in Tallahassee, FL.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in assessing and enhancing the cybersecurity resiliency of the client’s systems. This position requires deep expertise in cybersecurity analysis, risk management, and compliance. You will be responsible for evaluating current cybersecurity measures, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the security of the client’s information systems.
$90K/year - $120K/year
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of the client’s cybersecurity programs to document compliance with NIST CSF 1.1 (2.0), Rule 60GG, FAC, s. 282, F.S., and other relevant standards and directives
Evaluate and document the organization’s risk posture, including the exploitability and likelihood of potential threats
Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of current security measures
Develop and implement risk management strategies to address identified vulnerabilities and threats
Lead and coordinate incident response activities to ensure prompt and effective resolution of security incidents
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all cybersecurity activities, including assessments, risk management plans, incident response actions, and compliance reports
Implement continuous monitoring practices to detect and respond to security threats in real time
Provide expert guidance and support to other team members and departments on cybersecurity best practices and strategies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, risk management, and incident response
Strong expertise in conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis
Knowledge of IR methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Strong understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners
Comprehensive knowledge of NIST CSF, Rule 60GG, FAC, and other relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations
Proven ability to develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies and countermeasures
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable
