Experienced Analytical Chemist at Synergy Bioscience

About Us: Synergy Bioscience is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) serving pharmaceutical and other FDA-regulated industries. Due to our rapid business growth, we are seeking highly qualified chemists with extensive experience in analytical chemistry.

Position Overview: We are looking for skilled chemists who can independently operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments, develop and validate analytical methods, and author protocols and technical reports. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our product development and testing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate analytical chemistry test methods.
• Analyze results, interpret data, and provide comprehensive written and oral reports in collaboration with the laboratory manager.
• Maintain strict adherence to SOPs, safety guidelines, and cGMP regulations to ensure a GMP-compliant and safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate sample documentation and specifications to ensure product safety, verification, traceability, and incident management.
• Perform test method development/validation using AT LEAST one of the following instruments:
• LC-MS
• GC-MS
• ICP-OES
• Dissolution Apparatus
• Total Organic Carbon Analyzer
• Conduct instrument calibration and system suitability checks as required.
• Follow laboratory safety and regulatory compliance procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in analytical chemistry testing using at least one of the mentioned instruments.
• Exceptional technical writing skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• In-depth knowledge of US FDA regulations.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (minimum).
