The Executive Producer, PBD Podcast leads a dedicated team focused on strategizing, planning, and executing the PBD Podcast, the Number 1 business podcast, globally. He/She oversees all creative output and refines production processes. The Executive Podcast Producer collaborates with and manages our creative and technical teams to deliver the very best content that will grow this audience, awareness, and revenue for the PBD Podcast. He/She will develop treatments and ensure effective delivery while maintaining current knowledge of industry standards, technology, and current affairs.

Job Responsibilities

• From production to oversight of the audio engineering team and signing off on edits and mixes, act as the central point of contact
• Develop show concepts and treatments, push creativity and the ambition to deliver on goals
• Work with talents on the development and production of the podcast channel
• Develop marketing plans to measure the effectiveness of the strategies that were intended to raise the profile of the podcasts and the hosts
• Develop new and innovative strategies to engage the audience, build up fan communities across platforms and raise awareness of the podcast
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop a paid strategy to support growth benchmarks
• Ensure that all podcast ads are running smoothly and effectively
• Improve the podcast’s performance by monitoring, evaluation, and providing recommendations
• Partner with stakeholders to build and sustain successful podcasts, including periodic check-ins with communications, engagement, and editorial teams to assess performance
• Work with the communications team to develop plans for hit shows and key talent
• Support the development and production of live podcasts
• Lead the promotion of the podcast shows
  
  

Job Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a podcast producer with the desire to grow
• Previous experience in podcast marketing, digital marketing, and growth marketing are essential
• Solid understanding of the podcast industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation writing, and deliver skills
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to drive content projects end-to-end
• Must possess an editorial eye and the ability to make recommendations to improve content, structure, and processes
• Must have the ability to achieve consistency by following, maintaining, and evolving content standards
• Must have an aptitude for managing and maintaining budgets
• Must possess the ability to collaborate and work with diverse stakeholders
• Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Must be enthusiastic, and hold a solutions-oriented mindset
• Strong connections with external podcast networks a plus
  
  

Compensation: Salary + Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
