At their sister company, Chop Shop, they provide world-class post-production capabilities from editorial, to sound, to VFX and finishing. Bayonet is looking for someone who shares their passion and values and will bring different perspectives into the room as they expand their endeavors.


Bayonet is seeking an Executive Producer - Midwest Development to join their team of experienced Directors, Producers, Editors, and DP’s. This individual will lead the Midwest business development efforts with an effective outreach strategy and will play a pivotal role in expanding business opportunities. The compensation for this role is competitive and includes commission and bonuses up to $250k.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EXECUTIVE PRODUCER:

  • Lead Midwest business development efforts and outreach strategies
  • Forge new connections and pitch our capabilities, roster of directors, and Chop Shop’s editorial services
  • Target top tier agencies and in-house client lead creative departments
  • Develop an understanding of new business needs and target them effectively
  • Work closely with existing Executive Producers in client outreach and relationship nurturing
  • Collaborate with wider teams throughout the bid process and ensure seamless project transitions
  • Maintain a high level of client comfort and support as needed
  • Travel frequently to connect with creative clients in person


IDEAL CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development in the field of advertising and preferably commercial production
  • Understanding of agency and client lead creative teams and workflows
  • Agency producing experience is a plus
  • A contact list within the agency world and a successful track record of closing creative deals
  • Deep knowledge of marketing agencies and client creative team dynamics
  • Proven track record of cultivating and maintaining robust client relationships
  • Strong listening skills and ability to inspire creative teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in G-suite and MS Office applications
