WeTheHobby, a trusted and respected brand in the sports entertainment industry, is looking for energetic and passionate production talent to help grow our total media production.

WeTheHobby is seeking an Executive Producer to lead its growing content teams. This is a pivotal role at WeTheHobby, responsible for leading, mentoring and developing an emerging team of Producers and Project Managers. The Executive Producer will foster a positive culture and work environment while streamlining production efforts across video, photo, social, broadcast and online channels. Working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, Senior Media Director and Senior Marketing Manager (and WeTheHobby’s on-air personalities), the Executive Producer will define creative pitches, project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

This leadership role will play an integral part in driving creative content alignment with brand and quality standards.

Since its inception in 2021, the company has grown dramatically (and profitably) now with over 80 full-time staff and 250,000+ followers across our social and marketplace channels. Core job responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of production, from pre-production to post-production
• Lead the creative production team with up to five direct reports
• Collaborate with leadership to define project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Ensure all content meets quality standards, reflects brand objectives and stays current on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure production stays within budget and meets all deadlines and deliverables
• Manage all production budgets with CMO and CFO
• Lead, mentor and collaborate with producers and the entire content marketing team
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the organizatio
• Overseeing final products to ensure they meet quality standards and adhere to the project's goals
• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements, such as copyright and licensing issues
• Reviewing and approving content to guarantee it aligns with branding guidelines and production standards

Our ideal candidate has:

• Minimum 10 years in the creative industry with a strong background in video and photo production
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in sports, agency, media or related field.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and inspire production teams.
• Highly organized with superior attention to detail.
• Passionate about sports, social media and trending topics.
• Experience scripting, producing and delivering exceptional Podcast experiences
• Expert in project and production management tools
• In-depth knowledge of website production
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
