Role Summary: The Executive Producer is responsible for being the Studio Head, leading the overall studio business and organization for the company's studio in Austin, reporting to the CEO. The ideal candidate is ready to get in the game and help the company make exciting experiences! Responsibilities: Direct the overall strategy and success of the studio as a business unit. Guide the team in establishing and steering the long-term vision and direction of the game IP for both the studio and franchise. Take ownership of the vision for product, process, practices, people, and tools across the entire franchise. Execute and drive the implementation of the business plan for both the studio and franchise IP. Develop the execution plan in alignment with the established vision. Prioritize and sequence tasks into near-, medium-, and long-term goals to ensure successful execution of the business plan. Refine the resource plan, team, and organizational structure to effectively execute the plan. Collaborate with department leaders to establish and uphold the product vision, scope, staffing plan, schedule, and budget. Lead the development, management, and direction of live game service and operations, as well as content production, systems, and features for the live game. Explore and lead the development of an investment plan for new game opportunities within the studio's core IP. Manage studio and development teams, overseeing staffing across all key disciplines (production, design, engineering, art, live service, product management, project management, and operations). Drive the financial performance of the studio, including existing live titles and new investments. Regularly report game and business performance to stakeholders and the publisher. Cultivate relationships with partner teams and shared services to provide support for the game. Act as a passionate ambassador for the game IP. Requirements: Over 10 years of extensive experience in production, development, and product management, specifically with live game-as-a-service products. A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, encompassed within the overall 10+ years of gaming industry experience. Successful track record of shipping multiple titles, demonstrating expertise in cross-platform and large-scale live operations. Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience in designing and operating Free-to-Play (F2P) Game-as-a-Service economies. Strong familiarity and wholehearted adoption of data analytics and data-driven decision-making. Experience with and utilization of A/B testing frameworks to enhance decision-making processes. Ability to leverage data for estimating expected outcomes, determining potential return on investment (ROI), and prioritizing tasks accordingly. Expertise in market and consumer awareness and analysis, including player and marketing management and analysis. Highly process-driven individual with a proven track record of excellence in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring quality development and successful execution against plans. Demonstrated passion for actively participating in day-to-day decision-making processes while always keeping an eye on the overarching vision.
